China's poisonous milk problem has now spread worldwide, and its consequences are unthinkable. I think such things could only happen in China. In order to achieve profit, businessmen could do anything despite of human life. However, when these businessmen committed the fraud, what are our Chinese government official doing before the harm spread out? It has to hurt millions of people and someone has to die before government officials could start to handle it. They handle it by simply punishing a few officials, who do not have to be the very responsible person. This is the usual manner Chinese government handle such things, the usual manner a dictatorial government handle such things. I feel like crying for people who live within such a government.
I feel fortunate to live in a country with democracy and freedom like United States. Here people wouldnót have to worry that their children would have to eat poisonous food or milk. People can say what they want to say, and do what they want to do. This is the difference between democracy and dictatorship. I hope democracy could be achieved in China soon.
