Led by Chairman Wan-Jun Xie, some China Democracy Party members including me gathered at Washington DC in front of the Chinese embassy at 5am on May 29, 2007, mourning the students killed by the Chinese government during the 1989 democracy movement with candles and flowers. I know that if we hold such commemorative activities in any place of mainland China , we will be immediately arrested, jailed, and sentenced for "subversive offense". Living in the United States , now we are protected by the law of United States , we can hold any protest or commemorative activities.

I believe that one day, the dictatorship of Chinese Communist Party will come to an end, and a constitutional, democratic system with separation of powers will be implemented. At that time, we will be able to hold any activities or protests in any place of China .
